Correct fuel for an 'AD' twin port
Hey guys
Im a new member to the site, and I have just bought a 1970 Type 3 fastback TL. It has a twin port 1600 and I couldn't be happier with my choice of
car - its so fun.
However, I have one small question. I have filled the tank up a couple of times with unleaded and once with premium unleaded, both using an addative.
I have noticed no difference in the performance between using the two fuels. It seemed to run beautifully both times.
However, I am still not 100% sure of whether what fuel to use. As it is the 'AD' model (duel port 1600), i have been recommended to just use
unleaded, and use addative every five times i re-fill. So I was wondering what fuel u guys use if you also have the duel port 1600 as the bloke
sounded a little vague.
I just want my fasty to run like a dream, and last forever.
All comments and tips are greatly appreciated
Cheers guys

In a nut shell - plain unleaded for a stocker
PULP if a hotty or you want to or you find it runs better
Additives - if you feel like it.
Personally i use 95 and no additives in a 1916 "stocker"

PULP and PULP only (98 octane BP or Caltex, as the 98 Shell is S$%t). Warm 1776. I have tried that new 100 octane stuff and found it makes the car
backfire more than ususal on over run.
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
