Compatilble Oils Filters
Can't exactly remember what oil filter i have, it's the external/remote filter that comes off the oil pump. I think it might be a 'Z-63' or
something like that. (I know it's a Z-6?????).
Was wandering if there is a more compact filter that screws onto this type of filter housing?? When i say compact i mean shorter in length.
Mine is the same as in this picture.
Thanks,
Marty

on mine, i've used the longer z63, z154 and the shorteer but stouter z89a but have settled on the mahle OC28 (from a VW specialist) which suits
various porsche and vw trasporter. equivalent to vw part 021115351A. its got to be the best for the job given its made for the HV pumping of cold
thick oil. I have had a ry&co z63 internally collapse and stop all flow... never use them again. i may be getting ripped but am getting the mahle
filter for ~$15 whereas the z89a is the same or more....
