Type 3 wagon quest

I am looking for a Type 3 wagon 1969 or later that has been well looked after and is already in great shape. I am a big fan of these and will treat it really well. If anyone knows of wagons that on the market please let me know. I am in VIC but open to other locations.

In the buy-sell forum mick_elke have a 1969 type 3 auto that seems perfect for me but before I waste any of Mick's time, I would love to hear from any dubbers have seen his wagon or have some feedback to help me re price, condition etc. Please post a reply or send me a U2U. I am happy to call you if that is easier. Thanks & Happy New Year to you all.

I've seen it in the flash, in Micks garage etc., you'll find it hard to go past it, Mick puts the kids in it and Elke drives it, and Mick aint the kinda guy to do that lightly.

It's a top colour, and I know that since he got it he's fussed over it and done bit here and there, but I don't think that there was much to do in the first place.

I think it's a fair price, given it's age and condition etc., it's not like there are boxes of them about ay. Depends if you want to get in a drive or start working on a resto. Type 3 wagons seem to be getting more and more exy, so probably a good investment.

There's one at pic and pay less wreckers in Blacktown with the pass side nose panel crunched in. Looks alright aside of that. Need some work though.

Thanks crewcabconnection - agree with you.. I will contact Mick on Monday and have a chat.
Pete - I appreciate the lead - I would love to work on a restore but have no garage and a one year old son that keeps me occupied.

Happy New Year
