Type 3 - Rough when coasting

Hi all.

My T3 was running perfectly until the other day when i went to do christmas shopping. It started running rough when coasting, hesistating sort off, but seemed fine when giving it some gas. Ity slowly got worse, but still was only when coasting or not giving it a decent shove with the right boot. Timing is fine. Im thinking maybe a balance pipe has come loose as its slowly starting to run rough even when giving it some? Spark Plugs? Leads? Something?

Any ideas?

Have you checked your valves lately?
Yes I would check all the vac hoses and balance pipes.

Also check that the idle mixture screws are not dirty .

Check for a vacuum leak - recheck all hoses. Does it appear to have a flat spot when pulling from low speeds up a hill as well as the coasting problem??

well i checked balance pipes- fine, points - gap a tad small, but re-adjusted, checked vacuum hoses - fine. I also swapped leads around and backfired the bee-atch to clear out any gunk that may have been blocking the jets.

Seems to run allright, but still has a slight stutter when coasting. Im over it. Im off to buy a ricer....

OH! And the left side carb seeemed to be sucking a lot more than the right at idle and when blipping the gas
