wanted 1800 combi heads
after removeing 1 head i found loose valve insert head is un repairable so i am looking for 2 heads for 73 kombi 1800cc either to bolt on or have
reconditioned then fit i live in east victoria & work away during week so only check mail on saturday the other head is comeing off next week & may
be suitable for repair i do not want performance heads as van is standard condition any reply will be answered Ray

I have a single 2L 3/4 head which has a hairline crack extending a little way from the valve... dunno if it is any use to you, but i thought it my be
worthwhile mentioning it anyway ... I've heard that heads can be welded,
but not sure of the finer details. Also I have a feeling that the valves may be different sizes.
Anyway though, do some homework and act accordingly..

I've got one 1800 head, bought by mistake (I thought it was a 1700). It was sold to me as "good used". It looks OK, no cracks that I can see. It
may have a stud or two missing (I needed a couple for my 1700 heads).
I can email pics if you want.

IIRC 1800 bore is 93 mm and 2000 is 94 mm

You can also tell by the casting number (it is beneath the rocker shaft) what the head was originally.
