Bought my '62 bug!

Hiya guys!

Finally I have my own Beetle! After waiting 2 weeks to pick my bug up I have my own bug to enjoy. My friend has a dark green '74 Beetle, but I really do like the 60's Beetles and have no regrets in buying it - in fact I love it!

There is a little bit to do yet to get it roadworthy but not much actually. My husband (aka Firefly) will be posting that sort of thing on the forum tonight and will be asking questions to help him understand what is best for the Beetle as he is still a beginner as far as learning is conerned. I'm a little bit more than clueless but I'm going to get there and starting to learn small things.

I'm definitely wanting to rock up at the Carribean Gardens in March so I hope to have my girl there then if all goes well in fixing a few things up for roadworthy.

I'll post some more pics that I've taken of my car later.

Trust me she loves the bug. I am working feverishly to try and get it on the road. but my wifie has not even driven the car yet. (was a little concerned about driving a foreign vehicle home. I was suprised at how well it sat on the highway. It did scare me on the way home (not too bad) but we are not too far out from RW now. just a few little (time consuming things) left.

Cheers
