Snicker at a VW owner and karma will get ya!
Went on a cruise night with the EH Club on Saturday night. My EH is off the road at the moment so we went in the Helbus.
On the way there, we stopped for petrol and a couple of meatheads were snickering at the bus. Maybe they thought it looked like a cartoon bus?
Anyway when we had filled up and were ready to leave and Fleur was just about to say something to them, they hopped back out of their F250 Truck
because it wouldn't start. So there they were cranking a nearly new truck with the bonnet up as we zoomed off out of the servo and pushed the bus to
5500 rpm gearchanges up the road.
The next bit of fun was a WRX that zoomed up behind us, then sat on our ass like a haemorroid. We stpped at the lights and he got in the lane next to
us. Fleur gave the bus a rev. The lights turned green. We launched the bus (a little bit anyway) and to our astonishment the WRX driver choked and
stalled. LOL
So it seems that karma came upon those that treat the VW without the respect it deserves.

Both situations certainly made our night more entertaining. I still cant help but wish we had of said something to the meatheads in the truck. Maybe
"Wanna tow?"
In any case, even if we were in the Beetle and it broke down, at least it would have the honour of being 35 years old. And to top it off, we would be
very likely to at least get it going again

Hehe... I've seen sooo many F250's and 350's... many of them very recent models, with white smoke belching out of them because they randomly
overheat/get thrashed beyond lame Ford tolerances and crack a head... usually in a very public place... where the tool driving it must wallow in
shame!
Ricers and bogans are what make the world interesting!

My dad always comes home with kill stories about ss commodores and wrx drivers, he absolutely loves seeing the "wtf?!" look in peoples faces when he
leaves them behind in his clapped out bus. Its only got a worked commodore v6 in it but the low gear ratio's give it awesome acceleration.

I could have done with some of that karma yestreday. Went to visit my brother in Finch Hatton and had some arse wipe roar past me on a flowing
causeway. Needless to say I got very wet sitting in my Manx.

Well, it only has mildly ported and polished heads, a 2 and a half inch exhaust and a moderately high stall torque converter. The sound is awesome
when you floor it.
