Wanted! New chokes for standard 2ltr kombi carbies!!


hey folks, im after some new chokes (new elements etc) if any one has some plz let us know u2u me etc. i need them for my 2ltr stock carbies. sorry i dont know what technical name there called. u2u me

i believe you are in the same position as me. my chokes are always on, so they are currently set always off, until i get the time to rebuild them.

A rebuild kit costs about $25 a carb i think...from memory

yeah well one of the vdub mechanics i spoke to he said new ones cost $60 each, tis a bit step i thought, any one got some good secondhand ones? or new ones for sale?
This fast idle is starting to shit me!!!

the rebuild kits come with new diaphrams or something. I am not completly sure cause i have never done it, my father has and that is what i am told.

if u can stand like me to warm the car for a min or 2 in the morning then just disable the chokes
