Fuel tank.

Ok the fuel tank in the beetle has what looks like a overflow/breater line on the filler neck (1960 model) This is missing a (I assume rubber) hose and thus a replace is needed to be sort. What do I replace it with (assume normal fuel line) and where is it to be run too...?

Cheers

As it is just a breather line, any small diameter rubber hose will suffice - just make sure it is a tight fit onto the breather pipe on the filler neck. Just in front of the corner of the tank, there should be a hole in the body which this tube normall passes through to vent out under the car.
