Hi Guys,
I'm still looking for a type 3 but have come to the realisation that the initial "wish" may not be all that viable.

All the prerequisites at the moment are:

pre 70's

good original condition with no (or minimal rust)

fastback prefered, then notch or square

priced around $4000 - 6000

Hey
Just letting you know, top pic is a '70 onwards model.. not a '67 to '69 model as you requested.. so i'm not sure if you'll find that colour on an earlier car!

Fastback's are better for extra luggage space in the back, and a little more legroom i think, but IMHO the Notchback is a much nicer shape :D

But then again, i'm biased! :D

my fasty was for sale some time back before I thought better of it, but alas a new kitchen and bathroom is being requested and I may be willing to sell for the right deal.

I am not looking to flog it off though and I aint giving it away.

Hi all, thanks for the replies.

empi: Nice machine, would prefer fasty but will think on it.

mscabrio: Have already been hiting up all of the internet sites, but thanks for the reminders.

Liam_81: Have already had a good look, but it isn't really what we've been looking for. Although a trip to canberra would be nice (we lived in canberra for 4 years upto 2003 whilst going to uni, great place!).

steve-89: May be interested, colour still may not fly with my lady though. I'll get back to you.

Paddo: Cheers for the link, the machine looks great. Once again don't think colour is right (although we do own a back car at moment!). Will think on it!

Empi and Boostn, I am VERY interested in both your cars. However, the buggy I currently own needs to go first. Are either of you interested in a swap of some sort?

I'm prepared to talk about ALL reasonable offers. I know the gap in prices looks big but I think maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement.

http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=49442

Please call me if you think you might like to own a very cool buggy.

BTW, I assume both cars are absolutely RUST FREE. right?

I think its a 1971 but look just like your top pic and I think it has an indicator at the top of the tail light.
I Am in VIC but she loved the car and wanted it to go to someone that would love it too.

Hi Matt, sorry to hear about your nan.
Car sounds nice (and you definatly shouldn't be sending it to the wreckers!). We've decided that we really want a pre 70's model, so we will not be interested (yet!). This may change in the comming weeks if we have not luck.
Cheers
