stopping power s/bug
what bolt on stuff can i put on my bug for better braking, does the 944 stuff go on or do i have to slightly mod.
where are these bolt ons available from if possible, i am running a porsche stud pattern if that will help.
vent discs is what i am after.

You can improve things greatly by installing better pads up front (skim the discs, too) and making sure the rear drums are in proper adjustment - MOST
CARS' ARE NOT. The next step is 'Bolt-on' upgrades such as using the Type 3's larger rear drums and front callipers (over your non-vented Beetle
front discs) which is what many of us have had over the years on Beetles used for circuit sprints etc. Still not enough? Then fit better-quality brake
linings in the rear drums (plus machine them) - that will cost you another $100 or so and works really well. Rear discs will cost you around $1000. I
installed vented front discs (and rear solid discs) to my Beetle as part of a kit I have been developing for a while now
