Recieved my rebuilt frankfurt in the mail. negative seems to be bodied like everything else on the vw, positive running to ignition, and there the
only wires.
the 6/12v converter on the rear is correctly set to 12, and on the otherwide from he power wire is 3 speaker holes with an image showing 1 speaker o 2
holes and then 2 speakers to 1 diff hole and one the same.
can someone explain this to me.
ill try to get an image.

I have a similar radio, they are saying you can connect either one, or two speakers, -negative wire from each speaker goes to one plug, & postive wire
from each speaker must go to its own plug,
one thing that is stressed with the Blaupunkt radio is that you must NOT turn on radio under any circumstances without a speaker fitted

just thought i'd add here, in just then cracking open the case i noted that the connections are merely a plug type connection and nothing greatly
special about them, bullet type 'spade' connectors or small series banana plugs can all fit snugly into these and provide a decent connection.

I should add that the stereo radio did not come out until 1969
Blaupunkt was the first with this feature

Just a thought. I wonder if you could get a fitting from Tandy or Dick smith?
On a similar subject, what sort of speaker can you use with these radios? and can you buy one new.
