new Passat-where from?
Hi
Just wondering where the new passat is being made? is it south africa? are there any issues with quaility with these instead of the german made
golfs/passats?
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

There have been some paint job issues with African built golfs. I have two freinds with new gti golfs and both have spray job dramas. Not hugely bad
but enough to piss them off. Thats all i know about.

You'll be pleased to know that the Passat is built in Germany most likely @ the Emden plant.
