In the sump in the oposite corner to the dip stick there is a tube which conects to the block, what is it for?
I am planing to shorten my sump so do I need to shorten this by the same amount?
Cheers

I shortened mine...cut it just below the dipstick entry, then you only have to change the pick up(shorter). The tube is the return I think.
