WRX bus cooling - progress.

hi guys- its been a while since I posted on here - progress has been steady but slow on the bus - ive decided on my cooling option after much procrastination - its going to be a skeleton number plate diguised front vent running acrros the cab floor into the top of the rad flat mounted underneath - ive removed and strengthened the front x-memeber so the rad can me mounted higher for ground clearance. This airflow will be supplemented with another underscoop......i dont have much luck putting piccies on here so heres a link to a UK forum with it all on. Id be interested to hear your thoughts.

That's pretty impressive work, and some lateral thinking too.

thanks very much - cant take all the credit Ricola gave me the idea.

I know lots of people have succesfully run under rads in much warmer climes but I couldnt convince myself becasue of all the extra gubbins up front. I really felt there was some restictions to flow by going underneath - like brake servo, front beam etc - fortunatly I had already moved the handbrake for the porsche single cable set up adn because im playing in unknown territory i didnt want something i couldnt modify at a later stage / that was irreversibly a bad idea!! im hoping the ram air effect will give me a combination of good cooling and ground clearance. If not i have plenty of potential to add more front mounted ducts under the bumper and into the air box. Ill continue to add pics as I progress!!
