newbie help
I'm currentlly putting a 280HP twin turbo subaru engine in my '72 standard bug. Completely stripped interior, fg widened fenders, cf decklid and
bonnet (soon fg doors as wel) and lightweight 18" BBS Le Mans wheels with 265 wide tires in the back and the bumpers and stock rear apron are also
removed now.
This is my weekend car and want to take it drag racing occasionally. It has a Pro street IRS box wit 3.88 ring and pinion and
1st Gear: 3,78
2nd Gear: 2,06
3rd Gear: 1,26
4th Gear: 0,89
I have never drag raced before but what could be a time this car could do (I know, in theorie) So I have some sort of goal to start with.

Guessing weight at 800 kgs with you aboard,
and if the tranny and CVs hold up,
mid 10's at 127mph.
But with those tyres, probably in the elevens at the same speed.
with less HP and more weight it will be slower than this.

Mid 10's, sounds nice 
When my budget is recovered from the new paint job and suby swap I'll swap to single (big) turbo and aftermarket ecu and that gives around 360-380
cranck hp; I'm guessing that could make it go below 10 seconds? I'll start looking for a set of 15" or 16" wheels with slicks as wel.

Hope it holds together! 10's is really fast. Ever been in a car that has done that b4?
I am hoping for 11's and that is all. Not many street cars pulling 10-11's.

Well I had the engine in on my swing axle pan before until some of the wiring loom got fried and it was very fast. I can only compare it with bmw's
M3 and M5 which I have driven before and they felt like diesels in comparison.
