seat rails
Hi
I just removed my passenger side front seat as I'm planning to replace both seats and clean up and paint under and around the seats. My intention
was to mount new seats to the existing rails but I noticed that the rails weren't original and looked like thay had been bolted to holes drilled
through the bodywork. So now I need to know how the rails/seats are supposed to be mounted and can I get replacement rails? Should I just get
someone to weld in new rails to fit whichever seats I buy (if not stock).
Pic attached tells the ugly story

yes find a welder to make sure its right
much safer and it will look great
great idea adding a pic
that lower rail looks as if it needs to come down a bit
that original rail could stay and just add a new rail to support the new seat you choose
