Does a Ferrari count?
Used to have a '64 1100 back in the days when I had hair. And have always wanted a Arbath bambino.

I have got a bambino waiting for me to pick it up and VW power it. Pretty rough but will make a great sleeper. My mate has 2 500 rags but they are
quite rare as the rag pulls right down behind the back seat. He also has a 600 abarth. Good fun little car.

I'm rather fond of the late 70's-early 80's Spyder... and having a van fetish as I do, I cream my panties over the the Fiat 600 Multipla bus.
This rather cool to say the least too... and on that note.. what do you see in the background?...

Matt. I had a Fiat 2300S when I lived in Canberra. There are very few left in Australia. It is a great car that has lots of style and class, but parts
are not available. If you want one contact Peter Beckerleg in Sydney There are two P Beckerlegs in the phone book, or try the Sydney Fiat Car Club.
I'd have another one if I could afford the $20K plus to get one.
Another good Fiat is the 2300 sedan or wagon on which the 2300S is based. They are very boxy and quite ugly but they have 4 wheel disc brakes and they
go well.
When I had my 2300S there was a rumour going the rounds that somewhere in Adelaide there were Fiat 2300 engines (note the plural) NOS, still in the
crates. I tried to find them because I needed a new engine as the 2300S Abarth tuned engine was clapped out, but I could not track them down
A mate had a Fiat 850, back in the 60's, which he drove like it was stolen and the little car thrived on it.
The main problem with Fiats is that the tin worms love them. They rust horendously.

I had a Topalino years ago but it didn't look anything like the one pictured. It had a 4 cylinder 500 cc motor front mounted, suicide doors and a
soft top, wierdest thing was the universal joints, just a heap of cloth sewed up in layers till it was about 20 mm thick, 3 location points for the
tail shaft and 3 location points each for the diff / gearbox. As I recall it was a '52 model, headlights in the guards , not "bug eye " like the
photo. Shit loads of fun to drive, 0 to 50 k in 10 min, the birds loved it.
I dream of a day when a chicken can cross a road without being asked for it's motive!

Years ago I was good friends with Peter Beckerleg's son Johnny!! He's now a cop. I used to love Peter's car and remember when he first restored it
(around 20 odd years ago). Small world..
