Helped out some nice hippies t'day...

Pulled over to help some nice old hippies from Melbourne today who had pulled over near the turnoff to my street on the way to Byron when they saw my bus in the servo... turns out they somehow parted company with their dodgy mexican zorst south of Ulladulla, and needed to find a VW workshop!

So we drove down to my place where I retrieved the numbers of Horsefall Mechanical, WPVW etc and talked kombi for about 20 minutes before they went noisily on there way again. :tu:

Such a nice feeling helping out a Kombi pilot... and I hope we all would do the same for our brethren. :bounce

A Kombi in need is a Kombi indeed.... :kiss

Oh the shame I have been living with since Saturday.

I saw a kombi broken on the other side of the road, with owner looking in the engine hatch. I just drove on by.

Couldn't stop already and hour late for appointment.

I can't live with myself AARRRGGHHH :cry:cry:cry

I remember a friends Dad saying to me when he saw me and the missus in the kombi when we first got it.

He looked down at my jeans which had huge holes in the knees (real ones, not these fake ones you buy)

He said "Never trust people with holes in the knees of their pants. They're either kombi owners or Christians"
