mail order vw parts?

Hi,

Just got back from the US where i had a '73 bus and did quite a lot of repairs myself.. but it seems like its a bit harder here in Aus to source parts online?

Are there any good VW parts stores in Melbourne or Australia that will mail your order? Where do VW mechanics get their parts from?

Cheers,
Nick

Check out some of AVD's sponsors, most of them have online catalogues for ordering. :)

From personal experience, I can recommend Mick Motor's in Queensland. They answer emails promptly, send out your order quickly and their prices are cheaper than alot of others.

It is still worthwhile checking the US based retailers like CIP1, aircooled.net etc.

I'm in Thornbury, Melbourne

If you have any suggestions for a good store close by that would be great.

I've been buying from Mick Motors for 10 years...

George at Classic Vee Dubs in Sydney is OK...

Most of the good ones advertise on here.... IMHO..
