Toyota SC12 Supercharger

Has anyone had experience with an SC12?
I was intending on fitting one to a Subaru ea81 powered Beach Buggy....(yea I know it not Drag Racing but I figured drag racing and superchargers go together). I intended to adapt it to the intake manifold with the carb on top, v8 style, but have been told that fuel can not be put through these superchargers. I'm after a second opinion if ones available.

Is that the one off the 4AGZE toyota?
Mike Kristen runs a pair on this drag car and runs methanol through them.
The rotors do have a coating on them, but cant see that it would be a problem .

Yes that is correct, but we do many things that were weren't meant to do.
Toyota will probably tell you that also.

Carps says it should be fine.
He'll check with the boffins in development when he's back at the factory and have a definite answer in about 3 days.

Thanks very much for the replies, we've also checked with the Importers and they advise they can be run either way. On top of the engine would be simpler given the lack of room we have. Looks better also!!
