Camber compensator spring
I'm hoping the car I'm looking at tomorrow is the what I hope it is.
If so, I'll be back in a beetle for the first time in 30+ years!
As it's a mid 60's swing axle, are the old style compensator springs still availale?
I swear one of these saved my life (not to mention three other uni mates) in the late 60's through Swansea bends.:o |

closest to old style would be the CB one, wouldn't it? though it mounts to the gearbox and not the horns.

The 66 beetle is exactly what I wanted!
So, I'll be asking the gurus for their opinions real soon. |
