which rollerblades? agressive..

hmm, i have decided after many years of being unfit and no longer playing inline hockey that i will get some new rollerblades.

now. i used to skate on tours.. (hockey only skates)

but before that had me a pair of k2 king 55's.

so the question is

is there anyone on this forum with the know how in selecting a new set of aggressive skates?

all the new skates i know nothing about,

what are the usd grycon clans like .etc .etc?

could be your lucky day, my dad owns a skate shop so i know a little bit. The best brand to get in aus are roces because they have a solid import so they can be serviced etc in aus. If your just looking at starting aggressive skating then maybe an m12 or similar, smallish aggressive skate that are still quite good. or if you are already doing large handrails etc and bit jumps and flips then maybe a grail or something like that. also valos if you can get your hands on a set of them. they are like the roces m12 but have alot of extra goodies. and also depends how muchyou wanna spend. good luck with the hunt.

yeah cheers mate, was looking at the m12's with the UFS.

was also looking at the USD grycons but i think i will be leaving them.

i had a pair of roces 5th elements(they were awseome) so i think i will be sticking with the m12's....i found valos but at 500 dollars a pair i dont think i will choose them.

the m12's for 300 are fine as most of my time is still taken up by my car so it will be occasional skating, plus i really like what they have done with the majestics as they were an excellent proven design for years...now just more user friendly :)

what skate store does ya dad own?

Wouldn't you be better off to spend the money on your car so you can get it on the road?

its a little store called cre8ive sk8. he opened up like 7 years ago. You seem to have the right ideas, get a pair that aren't to expensive but are still proven to be good. hope you get into the blading cause it can be alot of fun. on the alternative side, you could buy a downhill longboard and hit up any hills that you have near you. that will give you an adrenalin rush hahaha

i have a nice hill at the end of my street (as i live in the hills)

only problem with that is that where it ends it goes straight onto a main highway which is very busy, haha

blading down that hill is enough of a rush, believe me.

and punch bug...that would defeat the point of me wanting to blade :)

cars are one thing, also good to have another thing to keep me sane while things f**k up on the car :)
