Help. Broken Bolt on Type 3 Front suspension

Hi all

I need some help with my type 3 front end. I lived on a property with about 3 kms of dirt road leading up to the driveway. The top bolt for the rear shockie kept comin loose and finally dropped out but was replaced with a gardened bolt.

At the same time the the same thing happened to the front shock but it has sheared and the hexagon head end is jammed in the hole. I have tried to hit the bolt out using a punch and drift but cannot get it out. I am trying to avoid having to remove the entire front end to get this bolt out.

I am toying with the idea of using oxy with a cutter tip and blowing the sucker out but have held back as it it too butchery. Any tips please???

Can you explain how the hex head is stuck in the hole? If the bolt has broken (top mount), only the threaded portion should be still in the threaded hole. Use ans easy-out to remove if its tight and level with the surface and you haven't damaged the thread.
