Nope, not without the OEM ecu to run the ignition side of things or a complete standalone ignition system.
Suck eggs! Send the motor to me, I have a spare Microtech MT-8 handy bwaaahahahahaha:P:P!

hehehehehehe altho the thought of an SR is nice, Ive already got an FJ20det now. I wouldnt go N?A 2ltr from a turbo 2ltr.
However, im working on a few snoozers down here on your behalf.

Im going to wait and see if a VQ30det or a VG 30det comes around again in future shipments. Keep me posted if you would please M8.

Ummm, Ive gotten my stuff off Ebay.
MT-8's come around quite regularly. The most recent one I got was actually off an SR20 so it became a straight add on for the FJ20.

There are a couple on there now, one MT-8 but its configured for a rotary so will need about another 100 bucks spent re-configuring it.

The other is supposedly and LTX-12 with a hand controller but the pix shows an MT-8. No loom tho.
Might be worth checking out.

Hmmm thanks W1, ill check it out.
Not a bad price for a single turbo engine.
I am dreaming for the VQ30 as it does not have those goofy wing manifolds and the VQ has an alloy block and so would be a fair bit lighter than the VG.
But we shall certainly see.
