 My BAJA project 
 
 
Hey guys, 
 
Well here it is.. THE BAJA PROJECT. 
 
Tis a 58' that arrived yesterday. Took it for a run the sarvo and blew out tha cobwebs, alot of bodywork, but hey its a baja, im allowed to cut it up
lol. anyways heres some pics

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears.    
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads,  turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!

I reckon ay lol. Well there would have been ALOT more money involved if it was going to be restored. Better go baja i thought lol. 
Besides i already got one resto haha. 
 
Ill be able to come out and join you offraod boys soon!!!.......well not that soon as i still gotta get my license haha.

Yea im another young one! lol, just wondering cause of the rust, do u guys reckon take the body off and do the pan and the body separate? 
Im thinking it will make things easier lol. 
And what shud i tackle 1st? pan or body

Yeah, i saw this car when i picked up mine, was next door to it..., tis got quite some rust... Hehe... 
 
Definitely take the body off the pan, cause there will be cancer hiding between... + it makes things easier to access... 
U might have some trouble taking off the body bolts though, cause probably be all rusted out..., but wd40 should loosen them up a bit... 
If a bolt breaks, or snapps through... don't worry, just means u got rust there hehe... and if a bolt breaks just drill through it. 
 
pan or body ay? 
Either way it works.... but if u go pan first... u can drive that around when its all fixed... while ur busy fixing up the body... 
Be a bit more fun and keep up the motivation i guess... Either way though... :thumb:beer
