nikon equivalent of canon eos 5?


hey so im looking to find out what the nikon equivalent of the canon eos 5 is?
if I can find one which won't be too expensive I might look into getting one but I have no idea which camera I should be trying to buy...
any help would be awesome guys!!
and also maybe some hints on where to buy?

dont know much about em, but it might be worth looking at... i know that my friends nikon is easier and seems to produce better images than the canon's, but i can't remember what nikon it is hehehe

Nikon used to be the pro's choise years ago, not sure these days, but I would go with the Nikon. If you have the dollars that is!

i wanna get a nikon because the uni has nikons and it means i could borrow all their sweet lenses, i was using the fisheye yesterday in the city and i think im addicted.
i want an older film camera, something second-hand for sure.
i dont have the dollars for a digital slr.
any ideas?
