Anyone seen a dash like this? key on Left

I saw this in an operators manual book

it shows the key switch on a 1970 model beetle on the left of the steering column and the blinker arm on the RHS...

Anyone seen one of these rare beetles?

I thought all 68> beetles had the blinker arm on the left...
anyone seen one on the other side?

Did any early beetles have the blinker on the RHS??

Lee

the blinker arm in my 57 is on the rhs... not sure if it is meant to be there tho as you can loosen it and swing it round the steering column to
either side.
