it's a 1964 Lambretta those into scooters say they are better engineered having previously owned 5 vespas and 2 lambrettas i tend to agree they blow
the doors off vespas and handle better they are a little longer i think it helps .the only shame is inocennti/lambretta went broke in the late 60's
but they are immensly popular in europe and have there own race series!!

Wow! What a cool ride ..... I too am a fan of the scooter. Would dearly love to own a lipstick pink Vespa. But living in Werribee would surely get
killed by the Gino's in their lowered Commodores ........

it is a well known fact that when riding retro scooters, one must wear full biking leathers, visored helmet, and hell's angels/rebels/bandido's

I do regret selling my vespa last year, the fuel prices went up...and the price of scooters...
What does a decent reliable lambretta set you back?

My first vehicle was a Lambretta Model D 125. That is one of the very rare open models. They are mechanically the same as the Model LD which has
enclosed body work.
That one in the pic looks like a Model Li or maybe a Tv.
I had a model D, A friend had a model B and another had a model F. They were rarish then (1960s) and they are collectors items now.
Even then we looked down on Vespa owners as wannabee Lambretta owners.
