Hello everyone,

What are the symptoms of a worn clutch?

Nick,

The most obvious is, when the clutch is engaged - you don't go!
or slow engagement of clutch when changing gears ie engine revs up after foot off the clutch pedal
and the clutch slips at high revs.

Have you checked your "freeplay"?
What symptoms are you getting?

Old Dubber,
It feels like its slipping at high revs but lately, when I start my baja, its not letting me put it into gear. I'll force it, but I'll hear a crunching noise as if my foot is not on the clutch. This only happends when I'm at a stand still. Turning the engine off and on usually solves the problem temporarily. The clutch pedal also feels strange when these problems occur.

Nick,

If the freeplay is set, and the clutch driven plate is worn out, the clutch pressure plate fingers rise out, this makes angle of the clutch operating fork sit at an unworkable angle. ie makes it harder to release the clutch.
Also check that the clutch cable tube has not come adrift in the tunnel.
Have a look at the "inside a bug" pics on my club site to see the clutch tube in the tunnel.

Also check your engine & gearbox mounts.
