Hi Gerard,
I hope somone can help You...
thats a bit expensive...
Maybe a VW shop/workshop would be less expensive?
the windscreen people do seem to be expensive
I had My beetle's rear window tinted only and cost $100
and I took the window in there and I picked it up and I installed it in My beetle...
Maybe someone in a VW or Kombi club could help You..
the windscreen is going to be the hardest...
Best of Luck
Lee

For that money you could drive it up here and I'll help you out > Get the windows in + you get a holiday!
Its a pretty simple procedure. Once you have seen it done on one window you could do the rest yourself. (with a helper to hold window on outside) I
found the hardest part is getting the new rubber onto the window in the first place. Putting it in the car is easy after that.

Try this number. 0418350069. I think his name is Cliff. Got his number off a mate and he has done two seperate jobs on my Type 1. He works for himself
so need to pre book and his work is excellent.
Highly Recommend him.

Looks like something your would read on a public toilet door.
I have helped a mate out putting windows in his 57 type 1. It is an faily simple procedure. Put the rubber in with some lube, put the string in then
the window, get two mats around to hold the window firm and gently pull the string out and around.
It has been a couple of year but I was so facinated I remember it quite clearly. The paint fumes and spilt turps and acetone did make things a little
cloudy towards the end though.
