Fibreglass Pre-painting prep

Hey guys,
Probably been mentioned before but I cant find but..
I am repainting my car but have a full fibreglass kit.
To strip it back ready to paint does anyone have any tips.
Can I simple sand it back like normal or is there something I should do first.
Any help or tips would be great.

Cheers,

Richard

It is hard to know where to start to explain. Most of the tips are based on years of experience and gut feeling. I would say sand it back and paint, but I have no idea of condition of parts, experience of painter, paint quality, equipment being used, finish required.

Just go for it, and when it stuffs up or you want it better, do it again.
