Shorter torsion bars ??
I have cut the rear torsion bar splines out the rear of my bug to fit my sludge box in to .
Can some one please give me the length of the shorter after market torsion bars

why dont you use type3 spring plates with bug torsion bars.... Job Done

Prob a bit late, but the SAW website has early beetle as 21.75",
Upto 67 type 3(and pre1960 type1) is 24 11/16".
Late beetle and type 3, 26 9/16".
