I must add to this rant that Frieghtliners are lemons.
If you can afford to fork out $300, 000 to buy a new prime mover, fork out a little more to buy a Kenworth, can't go wrong with a Kenworth powered by a C15!

I wouldn't bother watching that crap , media hyped up Bull Shit , they have trouble finding storys.
I just watch the ABC news instead, get enough brainwashing just from that.

Same reason I don't buy tabloid newspapers or glossy car magazines, full of completely useless info.

Yes,
I just watched ACA...
a lot of faults for one car....
I have never found European cars as good as Japanese made cars....

thats why i buy New Mitsubishis....
at least i know i can go 200,000 without anything major going wrong...
and with a 5 year warranty etc... free roadside etc...

I believed there was a LEMON law for New cars....
and any NEW car that had enough faults was either swapped for another one or refunded....??
Seems there isn't ....
maybe never was.... ??
well how do i know there was a law ????
Maybe it never eventuated....??

and seeing that Australian made ford "LEMON" it doesn't cover Aussie made cars either....

Was the New beetle 2nd Hand when She bought it???
two years ago ??

I read on AVD today about someone with a new beetle and the electric windows didn't work...
same with the lemon beetle...
sometimes the roof didn't go up...
Still, its BAD publicity for VW in Australia...

Just remember that New Beetles are made in MEXICO...
as far as i know....??
and VW in the USA already has a bad name from selling Mexican made products....

and We all know that Mexican spares for early beetles are rubbish... thats if the parts fit at all...??

Mitsubishi Australia only builds the 380. All the rest are imports.

I thik the lemon law exists in the US. A damn good idea. When you invest that much money you should be able to get it back if they cant fix it in one or two attempts.

Pffft new cars. I would rather buy a 20 plus year old car knowing I am entering into buying a car with faults and wear an tear problems etc. It is easy to live with. Like buying an old house. We like the characteristics of older items.

New things can tear your heart if you genuinley or misunderstandinly feel that all new things will be perfect. In varying degrees of course.
