Most soft drinks are pretty acidic. Make sure you wash them off after getting rid of the dead carcasses.

However, for the price, I think a bottle of Polyglaze's Bug and Tar can't be beat. It lasts about 15-20 washes for me, and costs about $8 a bottle at Autobarn (about 50 c a wash), which is cheaper than a can of 7 up.

If you have decent bathroom ventilation, it also does a bloody impressive job on really scummed up showerscreens. :)

the paint on my car is in such bad condition it would probably curl up and drop off if I poured any soft drink onto it!

dakgrrl,

you'd be surprised how resilient paint is. Only rust and the associated bubbling, bird crap, and a few other things can make it really awful.

Do you have a shot of your car's paint at the moment?

Bat shit is acidic, so I would assume something alkaline to neutralise, baking soda?

Cleaning the car is just a bandaid solution, deal with the problem, shoot the bloody things or get a garage

They love them, but they hand paint them, cut up the dash, and interior, never check the oil, let them rust and then put remember to breath or save the lesbian whales stickers on the rust and call it fixed, until they end up in a paddock in the hills behind byron...

byronbus... ive got a garage but my landlady doesnt let me park in it when i come home of a midnight after work because my car wakes her up... so my nice shiny red bug is used as a shitting ground by bats, and an amusement park by the landladys cat.

perhaps i'll just start waking her up, either that or i'll stay up one night, quickly collect all the shit and neighbourhood cats and set them loose on her magna!

it seems the ferals brisbane way take much better care of their dubs than the ones in byron! they even sand them, wash them and touch up paint them up here! (!!!!:o:o:o!!!) amazing!
