Will the link pin sway bar fit to the ball joint front end?

This is my Volkswagen, there are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Volkswagen is useless, without my Volkswagen, I am useless.

The swaybar was introduced in the 1959 model..

so they didn't have them before that...

many people in the USA who run narrowed and lowered beams don't run a swaybar or shock absorbers...

and steering dampers were introduced in 1960 models...

Thanks for the responses. The hijack's OK. I still haven't had my Q answered so it seems that I will need to take a sway bar off a link pin front end and see if it fits the ball joint front end.

I want to fit a sway bar to a ball joint front end and I have access to a free sway bar from a link pin front end.

I'll let you know whether it works or not.
