dove blue colour formula


Iam in the process of getting my splitty painted and my choice of colur is dove blue ,but the painter and myself are haveing difficulties tracking down a current paint code ,any help would be appreciated ,the kombis white so i cant colour match the paint .Thanks Carl

What paint are you using? If tis 2-Pack, link above will tell you... otherwise, I used acrylic and found that Spies-Hecker have a lot of VW formulas (Dove blue was v widely used)

Also could try PPG, Glasurit, Standox, Sikkens... one of em will know

Ive looked through my Aussie colour chips but carnt find Dove Blue listed

Iam using du pont ,2 pack, i have found a code for ppg paint so i hope they can convert it.

Du pont colour lab will be able to convert it. Du Pont also own Standox and Spies Hecker, and both of those companys have paint formulas so it shouldn't be a hassle at all for the colour lab to come up with a formula, just tell them the code(L31) what style of paint you want and how much. Phone (02) 8818 4343 and ask for the colour lab. Hope this helps.
