after tearing og style mounts
i went to urethane mounts,no more breakages(i have read that some people don't like them)
but its solved my problem, had em for about 6 years(i think they are bugpack)
i also use bugpack beam bushes(tube style for narrowed beam)
i would use rubber on the rear though have heard of urethane chopping out quick and known for squeaking

If you are tearing OG mounts, I would go to solid mounts or OG with a padded trans strap kit. The urethane are notorious for breaking with any power put through them. A good OG mount is probably stronger!
Try and get a Wolfsburg West mount or OG german, not the Indian specials getting around today!

The urethane mounts and bushes are available from Vintage in Sydney 02-9789-1777

They will give you a slightly harder ride

Jnr is running an 1835 on Webers which is pretty healthy and the mounts on his have hung in there!

I ran a 1967cc, hard, and its still going with good OG mounts... depends how you drive.
Urethane feels like solid anyway, and they fail with decent hp just as rubber will.
I would go rubber with a padded trans strap kit, or just go solid with berg style midmount bracket for serious hp...
