Back in the dark ages when Chrysler was ballyhooing the new Hemi Head 6 cylinder engine and I'm not talking about the 1950s 330ci hemi V8, which is a
real hemi, I had a conversation that went like this.
I was looking at a cut away of the new so called hemi engine at the Chrysler stand at the Melbourne Car Showand a man standing beside me said,
"That's not a hemi." I said, That's not even a semi-hemi." He retorted, "Yeah. It's not even a demi-semi-hemi." We both started to laugh and
walked away to the bemusement of the nearby salesman.
As far as modern car shows go, I think that most new cars these days are cloned blobs, so I usually don't bother to go to them.
