Kolbenschmidt or Cima/Mahle?
Looking for a new P&B set for a type 3. Stock 1600 85.5 x 69.
Which brand is best?

Never had an issue with the (forged) 1640cc Cima/Mahles in several hi-po engines (one of my 94mm/1916 P&Cs has 200,000+ km) but never heard bad word
about cast KS in stock applications, either. Maybe call a good engine builder who has experience with capacity-restricted (stock-class 1584cc)
off-road buggies? I think there is a nice cast Nissen (Japanese made) piston you could look at too...?
