clutch pedal making strange noise, sounds like its catching?
the last couple of days my clutch pedal assembly has been making a werid noise, like its catching somewhere and then gets free, it makes a kind of
clunk sort of noise, the clutch itsself is behaving normally, its just at the pedal end. any ideas?

Mine was squeaking the other day.
Swore it was in the pedal assembly
Ended up being as dry as in the bowden tube. Squirted some oil down there with a syringe and alls well.
So - what i am suggesting is disconnect the clutch and operate it. Keep some pressure on the cable so it doesnt come off the hook.
But try and see if it is in the pedal assembly, cable or throw out assembly

OR the clutch cable tube has broken its welds inside the tunnel.
Mine did this, clutch pedal still worked fine, but made a squeaking noise every time I depressed the pedal and a clunk everytime I released it.
Not much fun cutting the tunnel to get to the welds, but had to be done. There is a fair amount of info about on where to cut the tunnel, and theres
the "inside a bug" web page to that really helps.
Cheers
Jeremy
