Fuch's

hey guys, we all know fuch's are the shizz but can somone give me the rundown please?which are the hard to find ones?

what do i need to run a 145/165 combo? i do want a narrowed front end how narrow do i need to go to accomodate them and look nice and tucked?

how do the offsets vary from stock wheels?

i want to put them on a 68 beetle w/ IRS rear, balljoint beam obviously.

what should i be paying for what sizes etc?

i may be able to get some through work ( Porsche repairer), so it'd be great to know if im getting a decent deal:)

thanks guys!

Damo, you know the answer to your beam question already, you need to go as narrow as you possibly can. Buy some Flat 4 repros, otherwise, I think Nectar was giving his set of real ones to JNR. He would sell em cheap:beer:beer

Yeah, 15x4.5 originals are very sought after and therefore expect to pay a hefty price.

If you can live with repros, then flat4 does a really nice 4.5 (but of course they will never compare to the real thing).

The traditional cal-look or resto-cal or resto-custom or whatever fu*ken look you like generally runs 4.5 up front and deep 6in rears.

15x5.5 are not that common either but ultimately it depends on what you like the look of. Sorry I don't know offset info, hopefully someone else can help in that area

how good are the repros?

eaisily identifiable as a repro? im just thinking they'd be alright for ease of getting.. but i dont want to sell out either..

do i NEED to run 4.5's if im going a narrow air beam? i do want to lay out though.. so i need 145's or 135s dont i?

Real and repro are noticably diffrent, there are also early and late fuchs so make sure you get a matching set. let me know what you are after.
