Haven't see any LPG powered a/c VW around. Perhaps there are technical issues with running and a/c engine on LPG?

but i have seen a LPG beetle in the newcastle area,
he had a oil cooler heating water to stop the lpg convertor from freezing up and it has a very small tank behind the rear seat

yep bwas talking to a bloke and his partner at bthe old bar kombi show he removed the oil cooler to stop the thing from running to cold they were going around the great aussie land and having no problems everything was on gas lights bbq etc
have a look in the lpg govenment site they list all approved fitters can't think of the url
