Changing 68 Baja to Pre 67 Beetle
I would like to change my 68 Baja into a pre 67 Beetle( I prefer the look). Can I just put on a early front and back clip to replace were its been cut
and bolt on pre 67 guards, bonnet etc? or is their more to it?
Thanks

Yes it can be done....I had a 69 Baja. I welded an early front and rear sections back on and then bolted on all the early guards and bonnet etc. I
found it easiest to make new cuts half way through where the fuel tank sits so most of the welded areas were out of sight, and it required the least
amount of welding
