I used to have the paint code for them (RAAF use). Its what we painted all GSE that worked on the flightline with. You doing one up?

these buses were a speacial build for RAAF..the reason behind the glass roof was to navigate around the under belly of planes....sensitive radio
equipment in the early days was largish and was removed and transported by splitties...I reckon a few turrents were damaged before some bright spark
fitted a couple of roof windows to avoid low slung engines....cheers steve..actually think may have some production numberws on these ,will check it
out.

I would be interested in finding out some production numbers if you have them. There are a couple areas on my bay which have government codes etc.
My dad was in the RAAF and remembers there were quite a few. Obviously they have lived pretty harsh lives!
I would also be interested in finding what was the standard equipment for these buses, i.e. double doors, LSD..
