gearboxes without code

I have 2 type 1 boxes, both with stamped numbers only, no prefix code.

8123889
&
61579038

Can anyone help identify?

Regards,

Matt.

Hi,
I got one sat on the bench as well 7028457 came out of a 62 chassis its 4 speed all syncro and I think the ratios are the 4.3 thingo whatever to 1 certainly more spin than the 1500 box I replaced it with, tough little farker noisy but holds its gears fine was on the back of my 1641 when I bought it.it had been clearanced for the 200mm clutch 12v flywheel.

I think they are pre '66 or threabouts when they have no letter code
but I may be wrong.
Usually 4.375, but some Bus boxes with reduction hubs may be 4.125.
