6v and stereo?

Ok so is there any way to get a bit of a stereo system happening on 6v or am I doomed to a life of silence :p. Tried searching the site but came up with nothing, but if I missed it a point in the right direction would be good

cheers

what to. do

first i'd look at what power the radio you want requires?
a 6 volt 12 volt covertor might do the job.

second if your running a 36hp motor you need a 12 volt gen.
They are not cheap and hard to find.
They are from 356 porche or off early industrial motors.
Then you need to change globes , wipers etc etc.
not a cheap way to go but it is a good one as you get better lights etc.

If you want more info drop me a u2u as i have converted a few before.

Everything 36HP !
Change over king and link spindles
6-12volt semaphores

as per above the 36hp engine has a fixed Generator stand which can not be changed

What engine are you running

If your wanting to run a DOOOFF DOOFFF stereo system then you may need an Alternator

you could run 2 6 volt batteries and run a battery switch than you will have more power than you will ever use and u can put a 12 volt radio in by using the batteries i tandem the switch will keep the 2 seperate so the 6 volt is ok and with 2 wires you can have 12 volt in 1 place
