[SYD] Looking for a special Beetle for a wedding.
Hello all,
I've been spending the last couple of days trying to track down a couple of special cars for my wedding in March next year. My fiancee absolutely
loves Beetles, and desperately wants to arrive at the venue in one.
We've contacted Cupid Wedding Cars, but i'm holding out hope that perhaps there would be someone with a unique Beetle that would make my fiancees
day.
She'd absolutely love to arrive in a purple convertable beetle. Something that still looks quite classic would be fantastic, or even just a purple
oval would be great. We'd actually probably be needing two cars, but if I managed to arrange even just one special purple beetle i'd be doing very
well in the brownie point stakes. =0)
If anyone here could help point me in the direction of someone who may be able to help it would be very much appreciated! Also, I apologise if i've
posted this in the wrong place.
Thank you all. |

| Well one of them isn't exactly what i'd call the most classicaly beautiful women in the world, and the other has a long term
partner who is a very angry russian man.
With an even angrier russian mother.
So i'd be doing you a favour by keeping you away. =0)
And did someone mention the bride? I'll pretend I didn't see that, hehe |

Although it is not purple, my old ragtop is now a resident of the sydney area:

No idea if the new owner is interested in using the car for weddings, but thought I'd throw it out there!
See "A legend comes to sydney" thread in this section - new owner has not yet revealed himself!

Admiral, check out the "a bit different" post.
I think you've got exactly what your bride is looking for.
That is, if it's finished in time!
Best of luck on the day.

If you get in touch with FLAT 4 VW CLUB , on of their members had a really nice purple convertable at a club run I recall . Murray Fleming or Dave
Silvestri may know who it is .
Good luck .
