Superbug and 914 trailing arms

Are these the same? I have seen the 944 trailing arms and they are similar to my IRS arms on the Speedster, but the 914 on the Spyder are very different....same as Superbug????

the 914 stuff is not similar to anything else that I've seen. The arms are very strong looking though, but the rear brakes are not as good as the ventilated 944 stuff.
