something different
Yes! a 1980 passat wagon, don't see these everyday do ya?
123,000 k's no rust, very clean interior, mech. excellent, just have to put some tyres on it.Bargain motoring
with some help from photoshop I'm visualising some subtle mods.
yeah, thats right, cut the springs and a bit of contact and touch up the paint with a spray can,a hot rodding technique that always works!

1980 passat sedan
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my 1980 passat diesel. Somehow I managed to pick up a 1.6 diesel to rebuild and replace the 1.5.
I'm always on the look out people with passats

pssssatt
hey guys,
the passat makes alot of sense right now being really cheap but still a great car, based on the B1 chassis the same as the Audi fox and early 80,it
handles pretty well. Plenty of spares available, pick-a-part in Montrose had four with most parts still intact, one was a TS, I got the steering wheel
(cool factory sports style ) instrument cluster with tacho and the factory TS manifold with a 32/36 dgv Webber all for $70! not bad Eh!
A 1.8 or 2.0l swap would be cool.
Two Kids into a 4 door wagon does go better than into a Bug.
The notch is still there could be up for sale been talking about selling it for a few years but its a hard decision to make, ya know how it is, My
syncro needs some more attention = heaps of money, but that is my passion now so it takes priority(cruising the bush and camping with the family is
more appealing than cruising the streets and sitting in traffic. Plus I am self employed and have 2 kids which leaves little time for the cars.
